With years of real estate experience and a professional background in Accounting and Finance for nonprofit organizations, Jo Sims brings a unique blend of financial insight and community-minded service to her clients. Originally from Southeast Michigan, Jo made Alpena her home shortly after the COVID pandemic, drawn by its charm and strong sense of community.

Jo has always had a passion for real estate—especially historic homes—and her eye for detail, paired with her financial acumen, makes her a trusted guide for buyers and sellers alike. She is currently serving as President of the Zonta Club of Alpena, an international organization dedicated to building a better world for women and girls.

When she’s not assisting clients, you’ll find Jo exploring Northeastern Michigan with her husband—riding bikes, taking scenic walks, and taking photographs along the way.
